The owners of this hotel, Steve & Marsha were so incredibly hospitable. The free homemade ice cream on property was so delicious and the rooms were incredibly clean, updated, and comfortable. At the end of our stay we asked Marsha to purchase sheets because they were so comfortable. She took the time to show us how she makes the beds, and sold us everything we needed to make a comfortable bed at our house. Now we have a sweet setup at home too thanks to Marsha!
I can't recommend this hotel enough! The couple running it is absolutely charming and so accommodating. Everything is top quality, from the Turkish robes, to the Italian shower products. Even though it's right by Main Street it feels romantic, secluded and peaceful. There's a wonderful little wine bar right next door that has great live music and doesn't get rowdy. We will be staying here every time we go back to Fredericksburg!
We felt like we were in a Hallmark movie! We arrived at this beautiful hotel the weekend after Thanksgiving, the owner’s Marsha and Steve greeted us and immediately offered us free ice cream, we immediately knew we had made a great choice! The rooms are not only gorgeous, they are well designed for their quests and very accommodating. We were able to walk to restaurants, church and actually got to see a human singing tree I think we just discovered a new tradition.
We had a wonderful experience at Whitetail Court. We rented out 3 cottages for a siblings getaway and had a great time. Steve and Marsh are great hosts and we loved the ice cream. Everything is definitely first class and an easy walk to Main Street. We highly recommend it.
We had a fantastic stay at Whitetail Court over New Years Eve. The room was spacious, clean, and incredibly comfortable, with outstanding amenities like Italian soap and Turkish bath robes. Marsha and Steve were extremely friendly, helpful, had great restaurant and winery recommendations, and were there to help us with anything we needed. The complementary ice cream from Austin Street Creamery was a great way to end each night. The gated community design with separate units made us feel extremely safe and provided great shared outdoor spaces. I would highly recommend Whitetail Court. We will definitely be staying here again on our next visit to Fredericksburg!
This was our first time at White Tail Court. It's a great place to stay for a visit to Fredericksburg. The rooms are clean and comfy and there's a small courtyard. Marsha was very nice and showed us to our room and went over everything we needed to know about the room and access to the facility. They also have a creamery on site but, unfortunately for us, we didn't get to try it because the weather turned very cold and windy and ice cream just didn't seem the thing to do. Next time we'll make sure we're there when the weather is better. We definitely recommend White Tail Court and will stay there again if we have future overnight visits to Fredericksburg.
We stayed at the Whitetail Court on our recent trip to Fredericksburg, and it was a great stay. WTC is probably the newest boutique hotel in town conveniently located one block off Main Street and a very short walk to the core of downtown activity. The 8 individual luxury cottages in a gated compound are very well appointed with 5 star amenities, appointments and accessories. The very efficient mini-kitchen was also a big plus for comfort and relaxation. The hotel has quiet and very comfortable covered and outdoor common areas for outdoor relaxation. Very attentive and responsive management. Best homemade ice cream I’ve ever had, and it was free. I strongly recommend Whitetail Court.
This hotel is just wonderful. The proprietors (who greet you, no disinterested managers here) have done an amazing job of combining luxury and functionality in their private cottages. It is downtown, but a block back, so you are close to everything and also have tranquility. Next door there is a Winery with live music of which you can here nothing inside your cottage. I've stayed in 100s of hotels and this establishment is right up there in my best experiences. I only stayed one night but will return to Fredericksburg knowing I need not look elsewhere for luxury lodgings!
